Attorney Emily Jolley Seckel is a proud Alabama native and a graduate of the Birmingham School of Law. She is passionate about helping the people of her home state resolve their legal matters with care, integrity, and efficiency.
At Guntersville Law, LLC, Emily works alongside her husband, Attorney Paul Seckel, to provide clients across Guntersville, Marshall County, and North Alabama with high-quality legal representation. Together, they focus on achieving expedient resolutions, clear communication, and compassionate service for every client.
Emily’s practice includes appeals, family law, estate planning, and general civil matters. She takes pride in helping clients navigate some of life’s most personal challenges — from divorce and child custody to adoption and guardianship — always with empathy and a focus on practical solutions.
Community Involvement
Outside of the courtroom, Emily is deeply involved in her community. She serves as President of Exceptional Aggies Cafe, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing inclusive opportunities and support. Emily was instrumental in securing the organization’s 501(c)(3) status, helping the group continue its mission of service to others. Additionally, Emily was instrumental in securing the organization’s 501(c)(3) status of Not Alone.
In addition to her legal work and community leadership, Emily is a proud mother of two wonderful daughters and enjoys teaching and mentoring young people whenever she can.
